Amazing stay, the room was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The location couldn’t be better, super easy to walk everywhere and surrounded by great cafés. I loved the big kitchen and the chill common areas, especially the rooftop. Great value overall, and I’d happily stay here again!

I would like to leave this review especially for Little Drifter Canberra and, most importantly, for Romina, the receptionist who truly made a difference during my stay. I made my booking through Agoda, where I clearly selected a female-only room. However, upon arrival at the hostel, I was mistakenly assigned to a mixed dorm, which was an error that seriously affected my first night, as I couldn’t rest at all. The next day, I spoke with Romina, who was incredibly kind, understanding, and professional. She immediately understood the situation and helped me move to a female-only room, exactly as I had originally booked. Thanks to her help and positive attitude, I was finally able to rest properly and feel comfortable and safe. Although the first night was difficult due to the room assignment error, I really want to highlight that Romina’s excellent customer service completely changed my experience. Staff members like her truly improve a guest’s stay. Thank you, Romina, for your help and outstanding service 🙌

We had a lovely stay at Little Drifters! The room was nice and clean, and each bed had privacy curtains. The kitchen was clean with enough space to store groceries. I generally loved the way the hostel and all the common areas have been decorated - lots of attention to detail. Location is great, right in the centre, walking distance or a short bus ride to everything. And staff was really nice and helpful.

Service is fantastic. Very nice and helpful when asking for suggestions on things to do. Rooms were neat and tidy. The kitchen is big and spacious. Also kept tidy. Great location if your bussing into the city

Picked Little Drifter off map bc parking close by and easy walking to the venue. Very surprised, as it was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. Room was clean and linen, towels, pillow, etc all good quality. Easy online check in before you go, then when you arrive receive a room code and a door code, so easy. Check out online before leave also makes it easy. No waiting. We will be back.

I recently stayed at Little Drifter Canberra and want to sincerely thank two staff members who made a real difference — Romina and Andie (night shift). Romina was professional, calm, and genuinely kind from the moment I arrived. I had a small issue with the air conditioning (the controller wasn’t in the room), and she handled it promptly and respectfully. What stood out wasn’t just that it was fixed — it was how she handled it. She made me feel heard and valued as a guest. Andie on the night shift was equally impressive. One evening there was a situation on my floor that left me feeling quite uncomfortable due to noise and behaviour nearby. She responded immediately, moved me to another room without hesitation, and continued to check in to make sure I was okay. That level of care and attentiveness is rare. Both of them went beyond just “doing their job.” Their calm, respectful approach made my stay much more comfortable. Hospitality is about people, and they represent the place very well. If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be ensuring items like the air conditioning controller are in the room before check-in to avoid minor inconvenience. Thank you again to Romina and Andie — your kindness does not go unnoticed.
